It really depends on what game i'm playing. For example; the original DOOM has mostly fast-paced music to go along with fast-paced gaming. But if it's a straight up horror game, I prefer no music or some creepy music to go with it. But for single player games I like for there to be music, which was one of the things I didn't like about Halo: CE, not enough bad-ass-music moments. I've also been listening to music by Alestorm.
