So now that players in Destiny will be wearing tight fitting clothing, not half-ton exoskeletons, it's going to be hard to make hitboxes equal between men and women. Unless humans have crossbred enough that women and men are exactly the same height and weight it will be hard to make convincing hitboxes.

Even if the hip hitbox is altered to be large than a male's it still wouldn't be accurate. Another huge topic is that people aren't physically the same, they are millions upon millions of variations that would have to be taken into consideration. I truly would like to see every similarity and difference in a game like Destiny but I don't see it as feasibly possible yet. Statistically males are stronger but females have higher pain tolerance. Men tend to be able to run faster than females but females tend to be able to run longer. Those are just a minuscule fraction of how many differences there are between sexes. Then there is the cross-gender debate and the transexual debate and so on. In the end the hit-boxes should be equal if they are not the exact same.
