Bungie set the standard for video games with the Halo series. The standard for pretty much every major game to date. And now that they have moved on I hope that Destiny can be the game that will revolutionize games again. Taking away all of the rage and anger at "noobs" and focusing more on the cooperative gameplay that I've come to love. The kind of game where you work with your friends to do things that aren't always the same exact thing like, 'you're blue, so shoot the red guy,' or 'hey hold this ball and get it to the other side,' or, 'capture this flag, it totally has meaning,' what I'm looking forward to is gameplay where you work with your friends and or random people that help you do things that actually matter. And I know that saying 'something that actually matter(s),' is kind of out of place when talking about a video game, but I'm just hoping that Destiny truly will be the revolution and ,or at least, change of pace that video games, and gamers, need.

I really hope that Bungie can make Destiny even greater than Halo was. It seems like an impossible task, but if anyone can do it, it's the creators of Halo. And I totally agree with the point you were making about having objectives with meaning. Having consistent competitive multiplayer where one team just shoots another can get a little repetitive over time, and I think that having cooperative missions to defeat the enemy together will be a great change.
