I am starting with a Frost Cutlery Combat Fighter knife, not a very high quality tool, but it's going to be for looks. (and the one I own has held up well through moderate use, so I'm confident it will survive a little drill-pressing)
Obviously the faux wood handle has got to go, or at least be painted.
I'll be stripping most of the blackening off.
Drilling some small aesthetic holes near the upper-middle of the blade.
And I'm toying with the idea of adding serration to the back edge. (I live in a state where double edged blades are legal)
Any further suggestions?
(specifically, what to do about that archaic hilt, it's rather ugly)
