15 year old boy uses AR-15 to defend himself and his sister from home invaders
Article says it all.
So, what was that about AR-15s not being good for self defense?

The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is with a good guy with a gun. Good for the kid. We need to stop calling these "assault rifle's". There are no different than any other semi-auto rifle you can get that just doesnt look like what the military uses.
