New players experience one of the greatest games ever for the first time.
-
Yay! People are talking about me!
-
How do I shot web?
-
Lol. That is all.
-
Morph Ball?
-
That's just silly. What a great experience.
-
So is it safe to say I can finally give up on the new generation of gamers?
-
Because at the time it would be to complicated to make Samus's sprite crawl so they just made her go into a morph ball.
-
Today's gamers are complete morons. They expect to have their hands held through everything.. Remember when you had to read a game manual to get the controls and how to play?
-
I need a new copy of Metroid. I lost mine years ago :'(
-
That reminds me, someone in my class compared Killing Floor to Black Ops 2 today

Edited by Frost: 5/17/2013 3:36:24 PMI want to slap someone now... It's really not that difficult to figure out. It's like people are afraid to experiment and explore, which is what you do in the old Metroid games.
-
...wut? Really? Well, faith in complex games being made by triple A developers has officially smothered itself
-
There is another pic where some kid says he is giving up on Super Mario World because its too hard. If these are real (which they most likely are) than I am shocked at how stupid this generation of "gamers" has become. The constant hand holding in modern gaming has all but crippled kids.

Edited by Decimator Omega: 5/17/2013 8:40:14 PMSamus Aran FTW! Also Butane..... Morphball.
-
Because she read those fan fictions and she knows she's created by the Japanese. She's afraid that if she gets on her hands and knees some nerdy guy is going to get behind her or a tentacle monster is going to have its way with her.
-
Lol. Pretty great.
-
CHRIST PEOPLE! Her name isn't Metroid, it's Samus.
New players experience one of the most overrated games ever for the first time.
-
Metriod is a cool guy who doesnt afraid of anything except crawling
-
Edited by I VoidSoul I: 5/17/2013 2:41:26 PMHah, I guess this is the result of people being too used to handholding in the current generation of games.
-
Are these real reactions? If so lol. Super Metroid is in my top 10 games. I remember my mom stopped at a yard sale when I was in elementary school and we bought a Super Nintendo there with a few games, controllers, and the mouse pad for $25.00. We steadily built a small collection of titles that included Super Metroid. That game was amazing, and I never was able to 100 percent it.
-
Does Metroid have knees?
-
LOL The magic about the older Metroid games was that they were a thousand times more cryptic than the Gamecube installments Godspeed to them, the fun only arises when you find out what small detail you missed that allows you to advance
-
Jesus. Back when I played Metroid 1 (and a little bit of Super), if you got stuck, tough shit. Don't know how they missed the morph ball/bomb though.
