why show half of your games now when you can show 100% at E3 and get people to buy your console?
Games win or lose 1st buyers, PS3 already shown about 6-7 and 2-3 are multiplatform so they don't have much left to show at E3.
Microsoft has 11-12 games to show and they still have watchdogs and Destiny confirmed for their console on top of the 3- 4 they have already shown. Sony did the work for them.

While Sony may have shown 6-7 like you said, they were pretty much only teaser trailers really, except for killzone. All Sony has to do is maybe show new gameplay trailers of those same games (that are mostly exclusive) plus one or two more and plenty of people will most likely be highly satisfied. I would also like to think that they have others that they havent even talked about too. That's not even mentioning the actual ps4 console reveal. On the other hand, it would be cool but not really worth it if Microsoft only showed teaser trailers at such a big event as E3. And then microsoft said they had all those games they were planning on releasing within they first year, but that doesnt mean they are all going to be ready to show by E3. some might even be kinect games too. They also didnt reveal any exclusive content for the xbox one for destiny like bungie did at the ps4 conference. In the end I just think the spotlight is on Microsoft to bring it at E3 with everybody saying they can show their games then.
