Someone asked me to film a wedding for them today, they know that this is the first time I've ever filmed something for somebody else. I like to film quite a bit so I'm not inexperienced but at the same time I'm going by the seat of my pants here.
Do you guys have any tips or experiences you would like to share to help a fellow videographer out?
I do have a few questions:
How close am I able to get to everything before I'd be considered in the way? I know that there is a lot a camera guy can get away with but I don't want to accidentally get in the way.
Should I prioritize on taking pictures, video or just get as much as I can of both? Honestly I find it easier to take good pictures on the fly rather than video.
well that's it for now I might add more questions later, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance guys.

Why would someone ask a complete amateur to film the most important event of their entire life?
