i was googling something for my gt a few mins ago when it took me to a link to the old site. on the old site i saw a beautiful lay out and my blue bar. the site was so easy on the eyes and very user friendly. came to the site and logged in to see if there was an option to go back to switch back to the old site. i didnt have much hope but thought i would try any way. alas there was not. i had a message from a friend that linked me to a thread asking where i had gone to. people were correct in stating that i left this train wreck of a site.
thought id just drop a post saying hey...and that i still dont like the site. also with the site being like this i havent even looked at any new info about the game. the site dissapointed me with the update so ive left it behind.

My heart aches.

Yorkie... is it you? It is!

While the changes have been dramatic, I think you sell it short. The work is not complete. Things are evolving all the time. For me, the iOS app has totally rekindled my enjoyment if participating in the forums.

All I read was, "Waaaaa, I don't have a blue bar, and can't accept change." A true fan doesn't care about what's on the outside, it's what's on the inside that truly matters.

Yorkie, leave the past be. There is a whole new world to explore and yeah, you might not like its look, you can explore it.

New site is miles better imo. snickers

If you just chill out for a second you would've realized that dazrobbo is making a script to change the site back to the New Hawtness. But alas, I really don't give a flying -blam!-. yorkie

As another old guy like OPR, that does not like change, I don't see why people are still giving the new layout such a bad rap. There are still a couple things I would love to see addressed, but if a couple old people can make it work for them and be on here daily, it would seem like the younger crowd would be able to with less concern. -We have a dark layout option -Changes since the Beta launch have made making navigation to groups easier -I don't have to use any of the tags and and [Like] and don't, BUT I will add that being able to hide tags is one of my biggest wants. -The abilities we now have to mute and hide make this 'open' forum much more hospitable -Old post order ability - best change since the beta All we need now is a little more attention to private group needs, and things would be pretty much back to normal.

When I venture to old Bungie nostalgia never fails to accompany me on that trip. However, I acknowledge that change was unavoidable and ultimately beneficial to the dawn of a new decade long-IP. I would be more upset right now if there was no change actually. Come to think of it we're lucky we still even have the Halo avatars, etc. I don't really understand how a relatively long-tenured B.net member who dedicated so much time to the community can pack up and leave because of site renovations. Anyways it was nice reading another one of your posts.

Welp. There he hath gone, away and into places that both him and his associates hope are better than this. Will ever he return? As even those who have endured are disappointed, I do not think so. What little reasons even I have to stay here are dwindling into a hole that better men dug with joy. It is only a matter of how much longer the clock takes to tick to it's next event, else we all fade away. For one final and only time, I'll do it yorkie
