I would really hope that Bungie would brainshare (not sure what that means... sounded good) this very HUGE topic in terms of MMO's. I would hope going into it, they have a plan in place to keep RMT's (real money traders) out of the game and stop them from screwing with the mechanics. I currently play FFXI and RMT's exploit, unbalance, and really anger me. They can be the cause of massive in-game economic swings as well as steal great spots to fight and gain experience points (XP). Now.. that being said, this is a First Person Shooter MMO .. so I am unsure and don't want to guess yet how gear is going to effect the game play ... taking from CoD in regards to weapon mods for stabilization of cross hairs, amount of movement while aiming, how fast you move, etc... also have to think about ARMOR, i could see gear in regards to armor being as invaluable as your weapon in Destiny. If this a true MMO there must be a way to share and trade items. Whether or not that falls to items in game that open paths .. like trading a key to a door.. rather than saying "Here, take my super awesome Sniper Rifle that i just got at lvl 50 and go beat the first boss 10 times and you'll be leveled as high as i am!!" .. i don't foresee that happening. I have very high expectations from the team at Bungie. I don't believe them(Bungie) to be anything less than prepared to deal with already existing MMO issues. or.. in the future Earth there is no currency.... we all work to live and thrive. Our payment is breathing another day and loading ammunition back into our guns....... ... and don't forget about Tanks. O.o,y,,
