Destiny's Relationship with the Xbox One's 'Snap" Feature
If you're one of the many who have seen the Xbox One live reveal video, you probably saw the new 'snap' feature that allows a user to simultaneously use two apps at one time. At one point in the presentation, the audience was watching ESPN while viewing live updates on a player's fantasy football league, which was all being controlled by voice commands. I feel that this amazing feature could be utilized very well in Destiny. Perhaps directly after a battle or match, a player could effortlessly scroll to see their stats, with the sound of their voice or the waving of his or her hand, updated with their very own K/D spread or faction progress.
Would you want to see something like this? Do you expect to see something like this to be shown at E3? Any other ideas? Are you happy to see the snap feature on Xbox One?
I would like an app for the game that was like atlas for reach. Only this would be on a WORLD scale. Then while hunting fallen I could see how the other hunters in the solar system are faring. Imagine the app telling you that the Cabal are pushing hard on Mars and the whole population online descends with a wrath never heard of before. It would be rewriting history!
