One thing I don't get is that M$ and $ony are more than likely going to be raising the prices of their games. Why do this when you will have to pay that same price when you buy a new game? Shouldn't they actually lower the price of next gen games?
For example:
1) Let's say a new game would cost about 40 or 50 dollars.
2) Now, let's say someone bought a used game for around $20.
3) For that person to play the game though, he/she would have to pay the price of a new copy. That would be a total of about $60 or $70.
My point is, Microsoft and Sony would still be making a profit, without having to raise the price of games about 20 or so dollars higher. Sadly, I doubt they would actually do this. Your thoughts?
