Dude. Dude.
Look at my name. You know I'm getting it. And I'm 18 years old. My first Poke' game was Sapphire, and I've been hooked ever since.
Whether or not people think Pokemon is unoriginal now, it doesn't matter cause Pokemon is as strong as ever. I see people commenting on Pokemon Black (5th gen) video with the same love I had for Pokemon as a kid. Somehow, like Disney movies, Pokemon knows how to stir up that childhood love.
There's something awesome about the games. You go on an adventure and conquer the world. I don't know how to explain it. But it's an awesome formula.
I know there's a few Pokemon fans on here. Face it guys, Pokemon is just as huge as Super Mario, Master Chief, etc. They're heavyweights and they're not going away anytime soon.
FEATURES IN THE NEW GAMES
- 3D Characters and Gameplay (think Pokemon Colosseum)
- Customizable character skin color, hair color, and clothing
- You can sit on benches
- Release date is October 2013 worldwide (you used to have to wait months after Japan got it first)
So....
Are you going to buy/download Pokemon X or Y?

I'm going to buy of course. A friend and I are planning on picking our copies up together. So stoked for this, although I am slightly worried that the resources going into the 3D character models will mean less real content, or maybe even a much smaller region in terms of space. This especially bothers me because, while I haven't played BW2, I played White version and I felt like there was very little land to explore, and very little to do after becoming the Champion. Unova was too tiny, and WAAAAAAAAAAAY too linear/constrained. I'm anxious to see how it turns out.
