...And still have them forgive you?
I'm an extremely forgiving person, and I rarely hold grudges. I find people's lack of forgiveness compared to mine offensive in that I'd forgive someone if they did something horrible to me faster than they would. I think that's insulting.
But at what point does the action become too much for me to forgive?

Cut off their limbs, start at the digits and work your way up going joint by joint. Make sure to tourniquet so they don't bleed to death. Once the limbs are gone cut off and out the ears, eyes, nose, tongue, and teeth. Genitals if you're so sadistic. If you really want to get into it, some psychological torture before hand is nice and if you really wanna finish the job right, flay large portions of the skin just before you finish.
