I remember when I bought ME 1 and 2 together. I didn't like 1 at first, I got really lost on the Citadel and gave up for like a week. I eventually came back and did it, and loved it.
Mass Effect 2 all the way, one of my favorite games of all time!

Vigil. That theme... Nom nom nom.

Edited by OmegaCircuit: 5/30/2013 7:59:20 PMMass Effect 2. Mass Effect 1 has a better plot, but ME2 has a better everything else (IMO). Mass Effect 3 is mediocre in basically every department (aside from the ones it is abysmal in).

ME1 is probably my favorite because it's just a classic to me. ME2 has the most content, improved on a lot of the stuff from ME1, and an awesome story. ME3 has the best combat system and the story was great up until the end.

ME3 without the ending is the best

Edited by Arbiter 739: 5/30/2013 8:42:30 PMMass Effect 1 is my favorite by far, Mako and all. Even the elevators were not so bad, so long as you took steps to avoid them. Mass Effect 2 feels... irrelevant. Like suddenly I'm 10X weaker and I have nothing to do but get a bunch of people to raid a ship. How easy it was to not lose anyone probably made the game worse... The cover shooting also gets silly a points too, with the enemy's purposefully missing me because I'm "in cover". Mass Effect 3 was pretty broken all around.

I love both Mass Effect games.

Mass Effect is the only acceptable answer.

Edited by MrHappyFunshine: 5/30/2013 7:15:17 PMThe first one is my favourite as it is more of an RPG than the rest of them

I have to go with Mass Effect 2.

Edited by JLx24: 5/30/2013 5:48:07 PMStory: ME1 Everything Else: ME3 (I still loved the story of ME3 btw) Plus ME3 multiplayer is awesome and really well done.

Mass Effect 2.

I enjoyed mass effect 2 until the end.
It was supposed to be this crazy suicide mission were no one was likely to survive, but in the end, no even a single person was injured let alone killed. What the hell is that?
ME2 i LOVE that game :)
-
I've only played the first two; I'm almost done with the second. I enjoyed 1 more than 2 because exploring planets on foot is much more fun than scanning planets in sky.
-
Never played it.

ME1 is overrated in the gameplay department. Art is pretty sweet. ME2 demo was a lot of fun, and that led me to ME1. Never played ME3. Oh wait, I lie; I tried the ME3 MP demo. It wasn't too bad.

The first.
