So today I bought the album Random Access Memories by Daft Punk.
I must say, it's very different from their older work, but also very inspirational and harmonic to listen to.
As a fan of rock music, this album was quite the risk to buy, as its predecessors have been almost purely electronic, party and dance music.
This album, however, has some very funky parts and good beats in it, and as Daft Punk themselves said, they maximized the more "human" contribution to the album, meaning guitars, drums, bass and a whole orchestra of different instruments, while still keeping that electronic feel throughout the songs.
For me, this album gets a 8.5/10. This is how electronic music should be done.

8/10 it was The Heist by Macklemore.

Section.80 by Kendrick Lamar I would say it's a solid album. I've always been very picky with Kendrick's work. Some songs I'll love and just some that it's hard for me to last more than 5 seconds listening to. Overall though, Section.80 was very good. There was only two songs I didn't really like, and they weren't too bad. I'd give it an 8/10.

Colma 10/10.

Edited by Frost: 5/31/2013 12:51:02 AMThe last full album I listened to would be Dance Gavin Dance's self titled album. I'd give it about an 8/10, and that may be a bit generous, I prefer Downtown Battle Mountain.

The last full album I listened to was Cage the Elephant by Cage the Elephant. I love the shit out of that record. 10/10.
