Okay, so I feel like I don't have enough experience with writing to actually do this successfully, but it's an idea that I may try in the future. I'd just like your opinions.
Imagine a comic series, or preferably, a TV show, about a guy who has the ability to absorb another person's memories and feelings, essentially their identity, at the cost of killing them. Sort of like Silar from Heroes.
I'm not quite sure at this moment how he would acquire this ability, but it's still just a rough idea.
I was thinking it could make for interesting story-telling, as with each person's memories there will be development. Any relationships the person he's killed once had; you'd see him trying to connect with those people.
Maybe at the start of the series he'd be a pretty bad guy, a killer, maybe, and throughout the series he'd start to have value changes, confusion about his identity, and a shit ton of emotional rollercoasters.
Thoughts?
