I found this concept art on destiny. As u can c the surface of the planet is icy. The only planets i can think of with an icy surface r earth and pluto. Also this planet has no atmosphere. Earth has an atmosphere but pluto doesnt. Im just wondering if anyone has any ideas.

There's no ice on that surface! And there's obviously an atmosphere since there are F***ING CLOUD YOU DIPTHONG! Learn so god damn science!
-
Here is the image for those who missed it. Idk can just use this to have everyone see it.
-
Did you hear about Pluto? That's messed up right?
-
Based on the large red-orange planet in the background I would say that is a moon of Jupiter called Europa.
-
Oooooooh you posted the correct pic at the bottom of the comments. Sorry dude. But I still think that that is a moon, not Pluto. Pluto doesn't orbit a giant red planet.
-
Is that concept art from Bungie? Many fans create their own art for it.
-
I will say this as nicely as I can. First of all, there is no ice. Second of all, if you watched bungie's press conference at gdc, they stated that originally, instead of having 1 last city, they were going to have this city be in a giant orb floating around earth. But they decided that it was too sci-fi, which was not what they wanted. They wanted sci-fi mixed in with fantasy. So they brought the city down to earth. This is concept art of that original idea. They even showed it at gdc

I don't see any ice and that is clearly artificial terrian.

Edited by Guru: 6/2/2013 6:49:58 PMI really hope so. Good things come in small packages. But it saddens me to say that this isn't Pluto and this was from...G...D...C.

Edited by my keys: 6/2/2013 6:17:21 PMThat's probably not Pluto: it's too close to what seems like a larger planetoid. In all likelihood, it's a moon, probably Europa.

There is no ice on that surface... their is a lot of green however... this was an early concept for the last human refuge... and if you look at the way it curves in on itself and now out you can see that is would be the inside of a spherical object, not the surface of a planet...
-
I do not think that Pluto is able to be visited. More likely the ice planets are moons by Saturn or Jupiter
-
This was concept art for where they thought humans would live. it's pre-city
As u can c the surface of the planet is icy.
Is this a joke?
-
Almost all the outer planets have a icy surface, and Pluto is not a planet anymore, so no
