Who is Recon Number 54 !
Who is recon number 54 and what does he do ? Is he Bungie , cause it says ninja . Also how do you become ninja :)

2 RepliesHow do I even begin to explain Recon Number 54. Recon Number 54 is flawless. He has two Fendi purses and a silver Lexus. I hear his hair is insured for $10,000. I hear he does car commercials... In Japan. His favorite movie is Varsity Blues. One time he met John Stamos on a plane and he told him he was pretty. One time he punched me in the face... it was awesome.

2 RepliesNinjas do not work for Bungie, but are selected community members who have agreed to moderate the forums. To become a Ninja, you have to be selected by Bungie after you've shown potential and if there are spots open, but don't bug them about it.

He is a forum moderator. Some say he has a gun, but all I know is he has a banhammer. Cross this man and you will rue the day. He has survived hordes of angry trolls and a wet noodle. He is on par with Foman the great, and has struck down many different other ninjas. Recon is one of the select few that Bungie has chosen to protect the balence of the forums. And he is also a Nathan Fillion fan.

Recon is a gentlemen of the Internet, his sarcasm is sharp, his jokes never fail, and his mom is a [u]very[/u] classy lady. You can't become a ninja without being in the site for 5+ years and never get banned and show a positive effect in the forums. (Actually there are no guidelines, but it's something like that)

And to become a Ninja, you have to be really good and blah blah blah until the webteam notices you and makes you a Ninja. But I don't think it's possible to become one anymore. Recon is a Ninja, which means he moderates the website.

1 ReplyNinjas are moderators, they're not employed by Bungie. I don't think they're going to promote anyone to a Ninja anytime soon, if ever. The forums are pretty much moderated by the members now, the Ninjas are just here to make sure things don't go too far at this point.

He isn't a Bungie employee however, he's a member like you and I (as are all ninjas). Ninjas are just voluteers that step up and take the burden of responsiblity of banning rule breakers and jerks. To become a ninja, you have to be invited. But, no one really know how that process works. Some say it starts with a dark interagation room and a wet noodle...where your will is broken and strength is gained.
