Would you like the next Doctor Who to be black?
I think it's time for a black Doctor. Who would you like to see in the role? Personally I would LOVE to see Idris Elba playing the Doctor.

3 RepliesI would love the next Doctor to be a good actor, regardless of ethnicity. Idris Elba is a fantastic actor, and would make a great Doctor. They've been hinting at there being a coldness in the Doctor's heart(s) for so long now, we need a Doctor with a bit on menace to him. And if any of you have watched Luther, you will know that Idris can do menacing.

I don't care if the doctor is black, white, or any other ethnicity. I just care that they play the role well and are good actors. I would not like to see them say "We're now only looking for a black doctor".. If they did have the next or a later doctor be black it would be cool.
