Were the Mythics actually elitist?

When the subject of titles comes up you hear almost immediately people saying how they thought the Mythics were bullying the lesser members. I never experienced that, and I've been active for 3 years, perhaps this was more common in the days before 2010? I always took it that this is a website full of gamers, who are passionate people, maybe people think that if someone of a high rank disagrees with them, they are being bullied. So were there actually widespread cases of "I'm better than you because I'm blue."??? (personally I found mythic members to be helpful when seeking advice by posting a question thread, usually the answer in blue was the correct one)

  • Brave crew of Bnet, consider the question of Mythics. These are the questions which man has asked ever since he first gazed at the stars and dreamed. My old-site ancestors were ruled by their emotions. They felt with their hearts. They made love with their hearts. They believed with their hearts. And above all else, they believed in a place in which these questions of Mythics would be answered. Modern dogma tells us this place is a myth. A fantasy concocted by pagans. It is no fantasy! I tell you ...it exists! My brothers, we have been chosen to undertake the greatest adventure of all time, ...the discovery of Sha Ka Ree. I mean, Mythic Members.
