HALO 5 is copying Destiny!
Wow, 343 is retarded, and unoriginal. The trailer shows Master Chief in a cloak/cape.
Why the hell would Chief, in a SPARTAN suit, need a cape? His suit can't protect him from the wind and sand? LOL
This is 343 just trying to be "epic", and they're failing miserably.
The worst part is, given how Destiny has a ton of capes as well, this is just gonna have people confuse the two series, and they're gonna say Destiny is a rip off of Halo.

err, actually MC's armor would stand out pretty obviously against the sand, and he might have his shields off because he needs to save energy, the sand could hurt his gel layer... But yes I did find the trailer to be incredibly lame.

4 Replies*facepalm* 343i can't do Halo. Point taken. But when you start nitpicking over things like capes then it seems you are looking for any excuse to slag them off. Personally I thought the Halo trailer was awesome, but it didn't get me excited for another 343i game of halo/CoD. I personally think Destiny will do Bungies legacy proud and I will be with them the whole way (on which console I will play on is as of yet undecided).

I'll hate myself for prolonging the life of this pointless thread, but I need to clarify something that may have already been mentioned. Frank O'Connor has stated that the Master Chief is intentionally trying to disguise his appearance. It worked well enough on me, I'll grant John that. On the other hand, the cloaks/capes in Destiny to my knowledge are there for the sole purpose of badassery. Mods, please lock this thread or prevent people from inevitably jumping to moronic conclusions, whichever is easier for you.
