So, what did everyone think of the new gameplay footage? Classes, web upgrades, "devil walkers", there is quite a lot to take in.
I'll provide a link to the gameplay as soon as it's up.

PS4 lag.

AI in some instances looked retarded, but I'm sure that will be fixed by release. Everything else looked fine.

Edited by MajorCrabs: 6/11/2013 10:28:12 PMBetter than I thought it would be. Though the person playing obviously needed aim assist or a M/K. The weapons didnt look like they had weight behind them especially the LMG. I thought it looked great and I am dissapointed that it wont be coming to PC (at release). *crosses fingers*

Edited by Guardian Hunter: 6/11/2013 3:13:12 AMI suppose I'll respond to my own post to kick things off. I'll offer my summary at the beginning: I was impressed. I saw some of the great physics and game mechanics that Bungie has developed over the years and used in Halo. The way characters can drop into gameplay was phenomenal but I wonder if it's only in certain spots. The fallen were a formidable enemy but I have to say the sword yielding looked a tad awkward in the gameplay demo, I'll reserve judgement on that until we see it better. I love the concept of "bosses" that drop loot and I absolutely adore the health bar for these type of enemies. It really gives the experience an MMO feel without taking away from the FPS aspect of it. The last part of the gameplay demo, the public event was, I suspect, only a part of the revolutionary social aspect that Bungie is adding into Destiny. The option to do public events in the middle of the world was brilliant and to see fire teams drop enter into combat as more and more people joined really gave it a the feel of a large scale battle. I am very curious to know how many people can actually participate in a public event whether its friends, anyone in the area, or literally anyone. Bungie must have some limit on who can be playing simultaneously and I hope it transcends the typical 16 players they have stuck with in the Halo series. Lastly, I didn't mention it in order, but the weapon upgrade trees are going to prove a huge part of the game as almost nobody will have quite the same weapon and potential loot from enemies allows a character to continuously expand their arsenal. I am impressed Bungie, bravo.

aaahhh, I think its safe to say that I am more then excited for Destiny to come out. My only dissapointment is in the fact that i didnt get to see what skills a Titan brought to the field.

Haven't not been let down in so long. Completely fulfilled and exceeded my expectations. I'm usually a cynical bastard when it comes to things like this but man... This was golden
