"Out here in The Wild this is how we talk"
I don't know about you but this line makes "The Wild" sound pretty significant. It seems to me like there are people outside of the city for some reason that are either forced or choose to face the harsh conditions on Earth without the safety of the Wall to protect them. From the clip in the trailer it is also pretty clear that those folks on opposite sides of the Wall may not be too friendly with eachother.
So I think we've found our political struggle in the game, now like all the other things we've seen this week it raises many more questions than it answers. Are the Awoken exclusively kept out in the wild, or is it a mix of all races? Are the people in the wild one of the factions we have yet to figure out? FWC and FOTC have been spotted on weapons, Dead Orbit has been confirmed as a ship manufacturer, and I think it is pretty clear New Monarchy is the governmental body of the Last City, but what about Osiris and Seven Seraphs?
Finally, I know we are Guardians of The Last City, but who knows how benevolent the City officials actually are. Will we be able to choose between sides of the political struggle? If the story in Destiny is as deep as we've been told and we have the ability to grow and build our character through meaningful choices, I hope the answer is yes.
I know that was kinda long and rambly but I wanted to get everything across. This is how I see it at this point but I would love to hear what all of you think on the topic as well.
