Is it 1, -1, or is it a Schrödinger's cat answer (1, -1, both, and neither).
Is it defined at all or is it a x/0 type of deal?
Because it depends on if ∞ is even or odd. But it should be both (and maybe neither?) since ∞+1=∞.
And since 2∞ should be an even number is (-1)^(2∞)=1 ?

And if ∞+1 is an odd number then ∞+2 should be an even number. So if ∞+2=even does that mean that (-1)^(∞+2)=1 and (-1)^(∞+1)=(-1) ? And apparently 1^∞ is undefined. What is this madness!?

It is -1 since the - sign is not included in the 1 unless it is (-1)^∞. But if it is (-1)^∞ I don't know.

x = 1 Now prove it.
