When Will the release date be
When do you guys think it'll be
I personally think this.
They won't release in autumn as Activision won't release it at the same time as CoD it'd mean they would compete. They will release in 2014 so christmas is out of the question. maybe late in Jan.... Not in summer because that's when game sales are lowest and when game devs get holiday time. Therefore i predict it'll drop between Feb and April... this seems to be the logical period.
Thoughts guys?

1 ReplyBungie has traditionally enjoyed several September releases, going back to Halo 3... for whatever that is worth. Even despite CoD, but this is prior to being an Activision acquisition. Is there some internal rationale for this time frame, is it the Bungie way? No idea, but that's where my money is. Especially since it is the month of my birthday, self-fulfilling prophecy - what's that?!?

Q3 or Q4 2014, stop making threads about the release date (not directly at you, generally at all of those who are making threads similar to this). This is the most likely time the game will be released, it is as simple as that if you do some amount of research.

I hope your right and its not released in like fall 2014 or whatever. I think I speak for many when I say I would prefer Destiny than another COD game they are good games but they lose their edge over time and I'd prefer the worlds first ever "Mythical sci-fi" than another COD

Sony's and M$'s list of launch window games doesn't include Destiny... Looks like Q2-Q4 is the most specific we can be.

The part of me that wants Destiny is screaming between January and May. And then that other part that no one likes is telling me late Q2 or Q4. Let's hope part one is right. But anyways, I just want Bungie to wow me. Whether that's pre-release or post-release, I don't care. Let's just hope this game is the megabestest.

2 RepliesI don't know, Q1 may be too soon with Bungie saying its only in pre-alpha stage. I mean with a game this big, we may be looking at Xmas 2014. I hope I'm wrong though. I just want to get in on the beta.
