Could Microsoft add the restrictions again later
Firstly, is it possible for them to add the DRM stuff later on (eg a few months after the Xbox One was out)
Secondly, how likely do you think it is that they will do it

They might add some of the digital sharing parts of the original policies but nothing as extreme as what you are thinking.

I'm not advocating anything but... I do think the future of all electronics will be heavily centered around connectivity. I also can't imagine a company as ambitious as Microsoft waiting a whole console cycle to implement the innovations they worked so hard on. I think when the time is right, DRM will return to the X1. Slowly...but surely.

Yes they could, doubtful that they will implement it in the same way though. Though they could implement it with "cloud processing" much like EA did with the sims.

Either console can add those later. I'm going to guess that neither will do so any time soon.
