I just finished The Last of Us
What... an amazing game. One of my all time favourite games in a while. Everything about it was just so polished and the story was too good.
Do you think it will become a series since Sony already trademarked a 2 and 3?
[spoiler]Joel lied to Ellie at the end. It was to be expected considering how much he cares for her[/spoiler]
Did the ending make sense to you guys? I thought it was alright.
[spoiler]ND originally said Ellie would never be playable. Look at that surprise we got. My favourite section without a doubt.[/spoiler]

4 RepliesI was driven practically to tears at multiple points in the story. I absolutely loved the ending. [spoiler]Joel decided that humanity wasn't worth saving and that control of the cure would only create more chaos for humanity after he saw how relentless and uncompationate people were, even resorting to killing their own kind without any concern or hesitation. He believes that Ellie's life is worth more than humanity and I [i]agree[/i] with him...[/spoiler] It was a [i]very[/i] different conclusion to what I was expecting and I'm glad that it surprised me that way. One of the best stories I've ever experienced and I've seldom felt so attached to the relationship between two characters.
