I'm super impressed
The reason I'm impressed is because of how tightly knit everyone in the forums are.
IMO I think Bungie has the best community in the entire universe.
I've been reading everyone's posts about Destiny and what it will be like, and it's almost surprising how little people are giving each other sh*t. I see people agreeing with each other and supporting one another's ideas. I mean, where the hell do you ever see that on the Internet? Everyone is always bashing each other in forums, but here instead of bashing we throw witty humor at each other. I even saw someone apologize for getting angry at another member!!
How f'ing awesome is that?
It's like we are the civil, more evolved part of the interwebz, all gathered at one location to share awesomeness and let our brilliant ideas spread like the flood over the vast expanse of our Destiny.

You guys are badass. Just wanted to let you know. After all these years of Halo, I'm ready to take the leap to 10 years of Destiny. Glad to know I'll be taking that journey with you guys.

Awww thanks bro we love you too! And I do agree. Although the beta community of most games is usually the best players. This is a really good community, but the majority isn't even here yet.

I mean it's probably not likely, but what if Destiny was so successful that it sparked a merge of Sony and Microsoft? Then the console war would be between the awesome combination of the consoles and whatever version of the Wii Nintendo comes out with next. And we know who would win that console war.

It's the backyard BBQ or your cousins home theatre basement. [b]Gaming:[/b] This is where the "adolescents" hang out and bicker about which shooter is the best. Some are much more mature but you will see an even balance between rage and passion. Just don't say "It's just a game." Ever. [b]Support:[/b] Remember when you broke your arm? Lost your favorite toy? Fell off your bike? This is where you ask for help and you mother, father, cool uncle or aunt, or anyone you really don't mind comes to help you out. You pretty much only go to them in certain situations and you only see them there. You also get to meet others who are sharing the same problem. It's like a support group run by a nice grandmother (Achronos) who fixes everything. [b]OffTopic:[/b] Drunk grandfathers, uncles, and aunts that you barely know but love to watch. They stumble over their words, cuss, make no sense, and have a very good or very bad time. Every now and then you meet your neighbourhood friend or close cousin here and you have a good conversation. However, some annoying cousin comes over and ruins it most of the time. [b]AllTopics:[/b] This is where the parents and party hosts go. They watch over everything and commune when and where they can. [b]FollowedTags:[/b] You know that teenager who just got twitter? That's this forum. [b]Profile:[/b] This is your room. You go here to get away from it all and to see what needs updating, changing, and replying. It's a good, safe place.

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong places, but 60% i see on this forum are trolls. I don't bother feeding them but due to this forum having its flaws they always get bumped to the top, which is very annoying, ...

You are right sir. I agree, some have given up hope & blame either Sony or trolls even lack of community.. I've seen the opposite in Destiny threads. Some bash it, but I've seen those same ones changing their opinion and get involved. I want to see this grow!
