Bungie confirmed that there is a 3 player fireteam on the Mail Sack and I just saw Birdman's post and thought about it and defiantly think there should be more than a 3 person Fireteam, but only if it's compatible with Bungie's engine, if not im fine with 3. Plus there may be more than just 3 classes. Do you think there should be bigger Fireteams or is 3 fine for you?

4-6 would be better i think, partially because I'm so used to the fact that most coop games out today allow 4 players, and considering this is next-gen it should (technically) be able to handle more. I hope there is a better reason for 3 member fireteams than "Well, we needed to be able to deliver the same game on the 360 and PS3 that we do on the new systems." Thats a general cross gen worry I have, though. games have to either be dumbed down to work on old gen consoles, or they have to not use at all any features that are exclusive to next gen. I don't like the first because i think its stupid to buy half a game and I don't like the second because why go out and pay $400 or $500 for slightly/moderately better graphics when you can wait for the price to drop and save money by not getting it until games are actually taking advantage of the new systems. Edit: If they have a good reason for staying with 3, such as the ability to take 2 fireteams into a private area where 7 or 8 players would be to many, then I am totally fine with 3. I know some people have suggested story reasons for the number 3, but I don't really believe that to be the case because in that case 3 still seems like a rather arbitrary number. If if the only reason its 3 is because 3 classes, then I feel they are limiting the options players have in combat. having even one extra player allows more options to how the team approaches a situation. I would be far more hesitant to split a 3 player fireteam than I would a 4 player squad because that way everyone still has a partner (to revive them, if for no other reason).
