Hello everyone, I'm here to ask you a very "deep" question...well, not really. It's more sci-fi. Actually, it's more just scientific...meh, forget it.
What's your favorite theory when it comes to the creation of our universe, or rather, what the universe really is? It could be anything, even one you made up.
My personal favorite, not necessarily the one I believe but in my mind the most interesting, is that we're in a "Matrix" like universe, except our controllers are past humans who invented the ultimate Sims game, and eventually we will too, in an infinite loop.
Alright, your turn, go!

Edited by GKR: 6/30/2013 1:50:20 AMThis doesn't go in to universe origins, but it's somewhat relevant to the topic of the universe itself. My theory is that all possible man-made decisions, natural occurrences, and evolutionary paths have existed in various universes, making up a multiverse. This resolves the moral issue of "why do bad things happen to good people" or other similar philosophical gripes. Because of many universes, good and evil outcomes must exist in order to form a complete multiverse. But this is just my BS.
