What do you enjoy most about Halo games?
I really love the creativity that Forge and custom games allow and I think they have really set Halo apart from other games. Although I do despise when games don't have Co-Op, over LIVE.

Coming out of the cryo-tube in Halo 1 :/

When you'd spend entire nights playing matchmaking or customs. How time would fly by. It's a shame that touch has been lost.

I've always been a campaign guy.

Very tough. I adored the trilogy campaigns but the multiplayer was where the real longevity was. I suppose in the long run it provided more fun from a statistical standpoint.

Anything Co-Op really.

Where is the ALL choice?

Edited by Mystical: 8/1/2013 3:33:54 AMMatchmaking for me. Sure the campaigns I love in Halo 1-3 and the music brings me back to those epic moments but the multiplayer is what keeps me coming back every week. I wouldn't be playing Halo 3 every weekend (as in yes I play ti almost every weekend no joke) if the multiplayer did not exist.

A tie beetween campaign and matchmaking. Campaign always first, then matchmaking
-
I believe Halo is one of the greatest stories ever told in a video game

WHY YOU MAKE ME CHOOSE??? T_________T

Firefight if it was doe right like ODST

Custom games vs Matchmaking is hard. Custom games are great, but the problem is without server lists networking with cutoms is difficult. I think I'll go with custom games since even though I play them significantly less often, they're more memorable.

Halo: CE LAN and Halo 2 multiplayer.

When Bungie made it.

Where is the everything button

The campaign and the story was always my favorite part of the Halo series.....which is the whole reason why I absolutely loathe 343i, with the exception of Primordium, pretty much everything released since Glasslands came out has been one constant -blam!--up when it comes to the story. The story was so great before, it's such a shame seeing what's happening to it now :( *sigh* 343i can't even keep to their own canon, let alone everything Bungie established.

Tie between campaign and Forge. I played ODST and Forge with my friend one time in late 2009, and both of them prompted me to get an X360. When I got my Xbox, I discovered how good everything else was. Halo has had such a large effect on me that it's hard to imagine if I got into COD or something first.

In Halo 3 and Halo Reach, all of it, really. That was the beauty of it. There were different ways to play, so they didn't get old. I got into forge and the custom map community, I got into playing competitively on teams, I had played with groups that preferred action sackiness. Did Firefight in ODST and Reach, both goofing around, and going for high scores. I participated in screenshot and wallpaper contests. There were just a lot of ways I could enjoy playing Halo.

My favorite part of Halo was exploring the streets of New Mombasa... both times!

You forgot, "All of the above."

If you ever played "Left 4 Dead" on custom games with 17 other people, you would vote custom games.
-
For me it's a match between Firefight, Campaign and MM. I choosed Campaign.
-
Damn I'm at a cross between campaign, matchmaking, and custom games I'd have to go with Campaign I suppose. Damn you for making me choose.
