Editor’s Note: Bungie has publicly stated that they are aiming for a “T” rating from the ESRB for Destiny.
I haven't seen or heard where Bungie's "publicly stated" this, so I'm guessing IGN spilled the beans on us yet again. Do we have any other source to confirm this "public statement"?

same here click on destiny bundle scroll through pictures find one that says t on corner and zoom

Its going to be rated t. Look at the bottom right corner of this pic http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductScreenshots.aspx?image=2&Product_ID=115475

Yes. In the contract Activison sent to Bungie, Activison clearly stated "Destiny it targeting a T rating from the ESRB" Not to say its official, but it does seem like it is going to be T Especially because DeeJ said that they want destiny to be like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings They wouldn't compare it to those two if you could slice someone's head off Hope this helps

They are aiming for a T rating.
-
We've known they were aiming for a T rating for like a year now, mate. However, if you watch their reveal trailer you'll see it's projected to be an M rated game.
-
I doubt it. If they have competitive multiplayer I would be pretty surprised if its teen.
-
It's in the original Bungie/Activision contract, which was released to the public through a court case. They haven't publicly stated it if I recall correctly.

"Aiming" does not mean "it is". If the ESRB, or PEGI, or whatever, goes through their 120 point car examination and finds that certain elements of Destiny makes it a certain rating, then that's what will be printed on the label. Remember, Reach was rated M, and all that was written on the description was Blood and Violence. Pretty sure Destiny has both, but to what end is the question. That would decide the rating.
