Why doesn't Bungie care about Xbro's anymore?
Bungie has been pushing their relationship with Sony hardcore. At the PS4 announcement, there was a Destiny video and even at Sony's E3 there was more information and a full length gameplay reveal. They've even said that the PlayStation platforms are going to receive exclusive content.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that now more people will be able to enjoy Bungie's creations, but the Xbox fanbase are the people who have supported and loved Bungie's games for over a decade, the one that's bought all of their games and merchandise. I don't understand why they being so cold to Xbox and it's fanbase?

If Bungie didn't care about you, Destiny would be PlayStation exclusive. So just be happy you are getting it all, ok sir? Just be calm, nount your blessings, be happy Bungie is willing to work with Micro$oft at all after what they did to Bungie, be happy.

Who freaking cares, whatever exclusive content PS4 gets will not be mind blowing, it will not make the game the best game ever and it most certainly will not effect what the core of the game will or will not be. Nothing about this game is for certain and regardless of my own excitement for Destiny all I'm basing it on is that Bungie makes great games and from what details Bungie has released about Destiny to date. Stop sweating the small things and lets just enjoy what Bungie is making for us on whatever console for whatever reason we choose to play it on. The End

Okay... Here's a copy and paste of what I said to another kid that complained about this. Bungie is a company. THEY WANT MONEY. So the question they ask themselves is "HOW CAN WE MAKE MORE MONEY?" The answer is EXPAND OUR AUDIENCE. OFFER THE GAME ON MORE CONSOLES. Offering exclusive content on PS4 WILL GET THEM MORE MONEY due to the deal they would have made with Sony. Bungie does not give a crap about "loyalty" to fans on specific consoles. AS LONG AS YOU BUY THE GAME. NEXT QUESTION. ARE YOU GOING TO BUY THE GAME STILL? The answer is probably YES. Xbone if I am not mistaken will be getting something as well it was mentioned in a video or in an article not directly from bungie though but someone that works with them, a thread was created here in this forum go search it 3. Think about it you smart smart guy bungie already have a lot of xbox fans so they are focusing a bit more on targeting PS4 gamer its just that simple you -blam- 4. Sony pays more attention to the needs and wants of their consumers the gamers and developers they went out of their way asking developers feedback on what they want to see, what they need and what they expect on the new gen consoles, sony has this in common with bungie thus bungie likes working with sony 5. MS is so F'kd up xboners are one of the whiniest people, i know this because I used to be one of them lol

They also haven't made games for Sony for 12 years so they would like to give ps people an outfit or something, or a weapon, nothin special. They still care about us a ton.

1 ReplyI love Bungie either way but I'm a Xman myself and I am a little disappointed I won't be able to enjoy destiny and even future Bungie games to its full extent because I won't be able to get the content that other people can get. This is why I hate the counsel war, why can't Everyone get the same awesome experience

Bungie's just getting soft with the PlayStation crowd because they're making an impression. It makes sense from a sales point of view. I'm not saying they only want the PlayStation crowd for their money, because Bungie really does care, but they're just pushing the relationship "hardcore" to make an impression.

10 RepliesI'm an Xbox gamer too, but I'm sick of these. If you could trust them to bring you amazing games for 10 years, trust them to not leave you out to dry. I'm sure they will let us know what benefits we will receive sometime soon. Personally I think they're withholding information from us so we don't get too hyped too soon. They don't need people showing up at their studio and knocking down the doors demanding that they release the game sooner.

Fenix Prime - If there's anything I've learned about countless pre-order 'benefits' games get, in the long run, 90% of them don't really matter. The only ones that ever matter are the ones that give a money edge on the other (Free DLC for example) Plus - I would think people would be more accepting of switching to the new console. Microsoft has proved time and time again that they are greedy and unreliable. Microsoft is the only one that refuses to do cross-platform gameplay... in my eyes, Microsoft is a villain

12 RepliesAs many have said its because they need exposure to the PS crowd. They are a big name for Xbox but they do need to build reputation in order to have a good showing upon release. Us Xbox owners see Bungie on something and jump in line. Not so with the PS.

4 RepliesI'm going to go with it's because Bungie hasn't released a PlayStation game, and this is a good way to show what they have to those guys. Everyone on Xbox knows what Bungie is capable of, but not so much from the Playstation people. I am getting Destiny on the X1, but I will probably get the PS4 sometime later on (not going to buy two of the same game though).

I hate topics like this solely because people are getting butthurt over stuff that's not going to matter. If Bungie was being "cold" to the Xbox's fanbase, they wouldn't be getting the game at all. Xbox certainly isn't just getting thrown away, but Bungie has to do business, and it spent a really long time with Microsoft. Bungie still obviously cares about the Xbros, but Playstation gamers could post the exact same argument about Halo. You have nothing to complain about yet: We don't even know what the -blam!- content is. It's nothing to get all feisty about, man. And, in the end, Bungie's a company, too: even if it cares about us, it has to care about itself too. We don't know why they're with Sony, but it's none of our business. So get over it. And this is coming from an Xbox gamer.
