California, Central Valley.
-Great if you want to get into agriculture due to it being an area heavily agricultural based. Many jobs available if you want to get into agriculture.
-Bad if you want to go to college. All the colleges (CSU's, UC's and CC's) are filled to the brim due to America pretty much having the soft requirement of getting a bachelor's degree to get a job.
-Good if you want to gain connections to many people. As they say, the more connections you have, the better.
-Bad, unless you don't mind low standards for everything.
-Awesome if you want to have a quiet place to live and cheap housing.

Orange County, CA. Great if you're a rich, church-going republican. Funny, considering how "blue" the rest of California is.
