I think I have a couple of good reasons why Destiny wouldn't work on the Wii U. 1: The motion controls would make Destiny a bit janky, especially when driving vehicles and your ship. 2: The Wii U's low online capabilities would massively hinder Destiny's mmo-style servers. I could be wrong about 2, but if it's like the Wii, the servers wouldn't work at all. They'd be too small to work the way Bungie is intending.

The Wii U controller has all the same buttons as the Xbox controller, just with the added screen in the middle, which could just be ignored or used for inventory or something. Online though that could be a main reason. I don't think Nintendo has had any online games of Destiny's caliber yet.

I just don't see that huge controller working very well in Destiny. The screen could be nice for customization though

Its basically the same size as an xbox controller. You have seen the optional "pro controller" that Nintendo is providing for the Wii U? Its the same size as an xbox controller, with both analog sticks above with buttons and d-pad below.

Well I don't own one or care to own one, so no I know nothing about this "pro controller". But my statement about the Wii U's online capabilities still stands.
-
Never disagreed with that. Although I hope that they do update their online capabilities.

I don't know if they can at the moment. You can't just build the servers and call it a day, maybe if they make an updated Wii U in the future with better online hardware, maybe. But I still don't see Destiny coming out on it.

Neither do I.
