When I first saw the ghost, I didn't understand why it was called that. As far as I could tell it was just an A.I. companion that would turn on lights. Then people started saying that the "death orb" we all saw was actually the ghost. Then it clicked. It's called a ghost cause when you die that's what's left to revive you. Yeah, I just thought you guys should know that.

I think you might be right

Shit hot! I understand!

That actually makes sense thanks.

I believe its actually GHOST, as in G.H.O.S.T. but I'm not sure what it stands for.
-
I don't care what it's officially called. I'm referring to my little guy as P.D. "Let me pull out my PD."
-
I'm pretty sure it's just an acronym for something.

I don't think it's your ghost (that you deploy) since its a different color, but rather YOU (your ghost)

It's actually subliminal advertising for Call of Duty: Ghosts from Activision!
-
It turns into a halo ghost!
-
Makes sense to me. I will support it!

*facepalm* we don't know that much about any of it, it's best not to make assumptions. Not too many about tiny things like that anyway.
