Who wins?
By entire, I mean EVERYTHING. Halo, for example, would have all of the Precursors, Forerunners, Covenant, Flood, and Humans all teamed up against ALL the Star Wars universe
They all have their technology as well. Halo has their Halo Rings and such, Star Wars has all their Star Destroyers and Death Stars and all that
-
I mean without Star Wars, Halo wouldn't exist.
-
People are simply ignorant of the power of the precursors, Obviously haven't read the books.
-
I'm voting Star Wars. I don't care about actual reason, I just prefer Star Wars and like to see the Halo nerds come up with extensive arguments about why their Halo is superior.
-
The precursors could solo, Forerunners would dominate as well.

Edited by DJ PeePants: 7/16/2013 1:58:50 AMPrecursor Star Roads are a major driving force that leads Halo to victory.
One of the more common types of artifacts left behind by the Precursors, star roads were seemingly inert, virtually unbreakable cables on an immense scale that lay across the galaxy for millions of years, connecting planets and even linking entire star systems to one another

The star roads, in their weaponized form, were incredibly powerful, being capable of crushing entire planets by the tidal forces they generated as well as blocking or interfering with Forerunner slipspace travel as well as disabling their weapons and other systems. During the Forerunner-Flood war, multiple star roads were used to trap Forerunner forces that were soon overwhelmed by the Flood.
Edited by ROBERTO jh: 7/15/2013 5:05:22 PMIf by the word "entire" that also includes the Flood at the height of its power, then the Flood alone would be an apocalypse to Star Wars, sort of like how what the Vong did to the Galaxy, only worse. There comes a point in Flood evolution where it is mathematically impossible to hold them at bay--as holding them at bay requires the use of resources, resources that the Flood in turn consume and turn against you, adding to their army while taking from yours--and the denser the victim civilization's population is, the faster the flood will grow. In this scenario, at the height of power, the Flood has already consumed the entire Forerunner civilization and all of its technology (this is to say nothing about their Precursor masters, that's another apocalypse entirely), as well as many other galaxies (source: Silentium). The Forerunners themselves would be a colossal threat to the Galaxy, just take everything they had and put it into the hands of the Flood. At that point, the Flood have already surpassed the point of no survival, where the mathematical impossibility of holding them back has been reached. And here we're sending them to feast on one of the most biologically/technologically dense and diverse universes in fiction? It's a numbers game at this point. As for their Precursor masters, all they have to do is subvert or disable all technology in 2/3 of the Galaxy like they did to the Forerunners and really all Halo needs is the Flood to win. Star Wars' A-game is found in far too many superweapons, nearly all of which can be subverted by the Precursors' tech-hacking abilities. Star Wars relies on one-offs, without those superweapons its useless against the heavy hitters, it has too many of its eggs in too few baskets, where the heavy hitters of Halo are all super weapons in of themselves.

Precursors /thread
-
Because of the Precursors and Forerunners Star Wars is -blam!-ed. Plus the Flood...
-
i would initially think this would be a close battle considering the flood, forerunners, precursors against force users and stuff like the star forge but then i remembered this i think with the blatant disregard for life that many of the halo factions have, this would prove an effective strategy (a single flood ship crashes into a star destroyer and everyone on board is potentially screwed)
-
From previous threads, I'd imagine star wars. Maybe Halo because of Precursors, but I don't count them much because from what we know, we think they are basically gods and can insta-win most stuff (I don't like going off of assumptions). However, I haven't read Silentium yet so I have no idea if it revealed more about them (it probably does).
-
A Star Wars droid can't hit the broad side of a barn if you see the battles they miss by a mile
-
One other point that I want to make, from what I've looked up (Although I'll admit that this may be wrong), the Halo array can destroy all life in a galaxy (From what I've found it was galaxy, not universe). Well, Star Wars has more than one galaxy.
-
People always overlook the fact that Halo AI are some of the most advanced AI in the SciFi universe. One Unsc smart Ai could cripple half a fleet if put into the right system. Also if things go bad, Just shield world and set of the halo's emerge victorious. Mop up the droids.
-
Oh my God, this isn't even a fight. The only people who say Halo are fanboys who know little about Star Wars. Even Luke Skywalker himself is pretty much a God of the force by the end of the legacy era. Not to mention the Eclipse.
-
ITT: No limits fallacy.

Well jedi kyp Durron blew up 3 planets using the force and the empire would destroy the covenant fleet along with UNSC home fleet. Laser technology crushes bullets and plasma dont believe go to wookipedia.com and look it up. Hyper space is far faster then slipspace the precursors if anything may have had laser tech but if they alone had it compared to a whole galaxy well bye bye precusors. If Halo tried using the halo rings starwars has the droid army so starwars still wins. The flood would be wiped out by the empire since when dealing with parasites the empire would sta y in orbit and bombard a planet until nothing is left much like covenant glassing but once it is done with lasers the planet becomes uninhapitable much Like our moon. Lightsaber beats energy sword. the clone commandos could handle the spartans. I have yet to include all of starwars forces and weapons and even still starwars has the edge.
-
I like Star Wars but I'm going to go with Halo on this one.
-
The main problem is that, if you take the movies of Star Wars in their chronological order, the entire universe kind of took a step backwards technologically. Even then, halo is more advanced.
-
Oh shit I forgot about the Forerunners. Plus everyone in Star Wars beside Han Solo can't shoot a gun for shit.
-
Edited by lVlzone: 7/15/2013 5:24:33 PMWhat's to stop the Yuuzahn Vong (Who live in a different galaxy than the other factions) from terraforming the Halo array and taking control of it? Or the zombies from the Star Wars universe to infect the Forerunners? Heck, the Mandalorians have armor that light sabers cannot even penetrate, so how would the Flood or any other small-arms weapon penetrate it?
-
>Humanity during Human-Forerunner War >Forerunners during Human-Forerunner War >Prophets during Human-Forerunner War >Precursor Star Roads Welp, think that settles it....
-
Precursors. Need I say more?
-
Plasma Eagle wins.
-
The Star War universe seems very populated with life, technology and skills.. I think the Star Wars Universe would be better

Edited by Madman Mordo: 7/15/2013 4:58:04 PMSigh, more Halo kiddies and their lack of canonical knowledge... http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Forge http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sun_Crusher http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Nihilus http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Force_storm_(wormhole) http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Centerpoint_Station http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Shawken_Device Hell, just read half of this. Pre Rebellion Star Wars > Pre Human/Forerunner War, and well basically everything else in Halo. Pre Human/Forerunner War > Post Rebellion Star Wars. Post Rebellion Star Wars > UNSC/Covenant War.

The Force can do some crazy shit.
