Or do you have a more precise view of your intelligence?
EDIT: Give your honest opinion. You're not being arrogant if you think you're smart and answer that you are when asked. It's only arrogant if you go around flaunting it in people's faces. Also it's kind of useless if you all feel like being humble on an anonymous poll.

Edited by Closed Account: 7/16/2013 10:16:56 PMConsidering I'm an engineering student who conducts his own experiments and has a high GPA, destroys all of the arguments on this website, won every engineering project I've been in, and knows how to analyze all variables for a situation, I know for a fact I'm above average.

Edited by NSCLord: 7/16/2013 10:33:51 PMI've scored an IQ of 145 on an official Mensa test, which places me in the top three percent of the population (probably just the UK's population). It is widely regarded that 140+ is genius IQ.

Edited by Infiltrat0rN7: 7/16/2013 6:18:19 PMbtw Anyone voting Above Average and Lazy are not Above average You can't be both
-
Maybe slightly above average, but I don't ever use it.
-
And the majority of votes go to... "above average but lazy". The Flood. As predictable as always.
-
Edited by WickedNavajo: 7/16/2013 10:24:02 PMI would think I know enough to be considered average, having all A's in my classes for the past couple years and learning stuff outside of school.
-
Seeing as I got 7 A's for GCSE, I'd count that as above average. The lazy part fits in with my following year in 6th form...
-
I have a +100 intelligence ring and a holy mace that has instant mana burn. You jelly, filthy plebs?
-
Edited by Section Ratio General: 7/16/2013 6:20:32 PMOn a scale of 1 to 10, 7 being the highest? I'd say [(7^2)/(sqrt49)]+1.2345. Edit: Holy shit, the poll results wut. I was at least honest with mine being slightly above average, enough to get a 3.65 in college, but everyone in here must have a weighted GPA of 5.0, or something.
-
ITT: 14 year olds who think they're misunderstood geniuses.
-
So apparently this forum is extremely above average in intelligence.
-
no 'Derp' option? i am disappoint.
-
I totally saw the results coming. Egotistical as always, Flood.
-
I get smiley faces on my tests and get them hung up on the refrigerator.
-
Edited by HM Rob: 7/15/2013 8:44:17 PMOn the ACT, I'm in the Top 8%. The ACT isn't, in my opinion, a good measurement of intelligence. All you need to do is show that you understand concepts, and you can do very well. That being said, I certainly don't consider myself below average. But for the sake of my own integrity, I'm not going to vote. Categorizing myself with pseudo-intellectual -blam!-wits, somewhat similar to myself, is more demeaning than saying 'below average'.
-
Above average, but lazy. The grades that I get on a test after not sleeping for a few days in the name of video games tend to still drop me in the top 10% of my class.
-
Despair!
-
slightly above average.
-
Above average but lazy, which is obviously the norm round these parts.
-
Are talking like book-smart intelligence or both book-smarts and street-smarts? I'd say I'm slightly above average book-smarts, but slightly below average street-smarts so i vote average
-
I know I at least have to be smart for my age...
-
I have earnt 8.6 Intelligence Points. Make of that what you will.
-
Hate to break it to everyone here, but it's impossible for that many people to be above average. Many of you are disillusioned, though it's not really surprising given the population on this forum.
-
lmao, I could have predicted the results of this thread. Above average but lazy? We all know everybody thinks themselves above average but make up an excuse as to why they can't show it.
-
I get called smart all the time just because of how i normally talk, which then makes me always seem arrogant because i might say a fact pertaining to a situation, so apparently i need to start talking dumber from now on. But my intelligence, somewhere in-between slightly above average and below above average, i'm smart, but there's always more to learn, especially when it comes to how i present myself to others.
-
Average or slightly above.
