Mini-Games in Destiny
Hey everyone,
I've been wondering lately if Bungie will implement any mini-games into Destiny. I think that adding these could really contribute to the "real world" atmosphere of Destiny. It would make spending time in The City more interesting, it would give Bungie a reason to add more dialogue, give players incentive to spend time and explore the city, and even increase sociability among players.
One example of a mini-game could be racing those hover-bike things. Player would meet in a hub room, and from there pick a location to race, make bets, and race. Even spectators could place bets on who will win (this could even be done from a mobile device).
Any thoughts on the idea or even ideas for other mini-games?

1 ReplyI've wondered about this as well. It would seem like a really good place to put mini games where the social area of Destiny is. Buts it hard to say. It might distract players from the main game and Bungie might not want that.

I think that would be a pretty cool aspect to put into the game. Bungie has talked about non combat public events so it is very possible that they would do something like that somehow incorporated into the game.
