If they are just trying to bring you down they aren't worth your time and effort. There is no sense being pointlessly nice, who cares if they get sad? You can't please everyone, this magical world where everyone is nice doesn't exist.
And come on I was only teasing you know I like ya, well except the silly bans. I don't understand why your self confidence is so rocky at times there is absolutely no reason for it.
