I'm not saying that you "deserve to be harassed". I'm saying that you're causing you're own problems when you know that there are assholes who will treat you like shit for no real reason.
I'm not saying you should be happy with it, but what makes you think that a bunch of teen boys are going to change their ways because you told them they should?
And just to clarify, I don't support what they're doing. But you're a part of a community that's based around the very people who treat you like shit.
I'm sorry, but that's the way it is. (PS, I didn't even read that last paragraph, because you're already missing my point.)

You're stating I'm causing my own "problems" because of things like using my name as my gamertag, so I deserve the harassment. It's my own "fault". Yes, I'm well aware that if I truly, genuinely wanted to be treated equal, I'd have to hide who I am, but I'm sorry, I don't think that's the right thing for me to do. However I promise you, if the "harassment" gets to the point I can't take it, I will make another account. I do get what you're saying, but I'm just trying to explain "hiding" who you are isn't what changes or improves things.
I'm sorry, but that's the way it is.
I acknowledge that but I'm not going to accept it, sorry. EDIT: No, I have actually "accepted" it, but I don't think others should.

The thing is, I don't even oppose your ideal. If it was in reach to have everyone respect everyone without discrimination, I'd be 100% with you. But the fact of the matter is that your ideal is just that: An ideal. It can never be achieved (on this site, at least), and is why I don't care. But good luck to you anyway! ...
