Consider this: Everyone's an asshole to each other on the internet, no exceptions. It's not like the treatment is exclusive to certain groups. In other words, it's not that women get picked on because they're looked down on or whatever, it's just that's how it is around here. The behavior you see here is indiscriminate, not to mention permanent. There's always bound to be someone just waiting to make a witty or otherwise harmful remark to the first person they find. Hell, I'd bet there's no one out there that hasn't walked out of a thread on this site buttmad as all hell, regardless of gender, race, age, political view, or whatever. Don't expect a bunch of anons to be nice to each other. You're better off posting in Facebook or asking users you're familiar with if you want nice/constructive comments. The best part? It can't be helped at all. It's been like this since the dawn of time and it will never change. Unless you implement thought crime or something along those lines.
