PETA has condemned Assassin's Creed 4 because it contains whaling. Ignoring the fact that it's a video game and people won't instantly condone real-world whaling because it occurs in the game, it's just what happened back then, but for some reason PETA is okay with murder, thievery and general criminality but not the death of whales. Makes total sense. Ubisoft's response is just perfect, by the way.
