So, here is unbiased and very deep comparisons and break-downs of the two consoles.
Despite what I've posted in the past, this is not meant for hatred, just an unbiased look at both consoles so that the Flood can be as informed as possible to buy the console that works best for their gaming needs.
After all, we're all going to get to become hopelessly addicted to Destiny, so what else matters?

I want this as my new console.
-
3 of the dislikes from the Xbox One article are now non-esistemt
-
I didn't expect the XboxOne to be winning. Seems like quite a few people have changed their minds.
-
Just a PC guy passing through the war...
-
Thanks man those were great reads. I already pre ordered a ps4 but I still enjoyed myself reading them.
-
I don't understand the "my friends are buying it, so I gotta have it."
-
I will be getting Xbox one, I might get ps4 down the road.. but haven't seen anything on PS4 that makes me go OMG I have to have that..
-
I'm leaning towards the Xbox One. It just seems to be better to me. We'll see though. I'm certainly not getting one at launch. I'll wait to see how things turn out.
-
Doing a poll on the next gens on bungie is kind of a bad idea, more people will go for xbox one since bungie used to be xbox only, so more xbox fans. Same as insomniac's forums, more people vote for ps4,since it used to be playstation only. Best place to make a poll would be on a random, not gamer website or something.
-
Xbox One mostly because my friends will be getting it. I also do like its features and exclusives.
-
Xbox One for sure. I will see if I can preorder it. Most of my friends will get it too, but only one might get it at launch. I should be able to preoccupy myself with games like Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, The Division, and Project Spark. I might finally get a Forza game too. 5 is looking interesting.
-
PS4. It's not forcing me to have a piece of hardware in my room I'll never use, never need, and would never purchase otherwise. Also, better exclusives.
-
What is this? Unbiased info, this is madness! People don't like to read articles unless it agrees with them. Seriously though, I'm going X1. None of the PS exclusives interest me over the X1's.
-
Both consoles are nothing spectacular and are replicas of the 360 with better hardware. That being said, I'm getting the Xbox One because: Ryse Titanfall Halo

Edited by Obsric: 7/21/2013 9:43:03 AMLooks like Microsoft is finally communicating the strengths of the xBox One. The first IGN article where journalists (other than Ryan McCaffery) actually sound excited about new features.
-
I chose the XOne because I think the exclusives are better. Yeah, there may be fewer than PS4s but in my view it's quality over quantity. Titanfall looks amazing, Project Spark looks alright, Halo I've always loved, Dead Rising 3 looks very fun and Sunset Overdrive is a "what it feels like to be on crack" simulator, so that should be fun. Quantum Break won't interest me until I see gameplay. And, I've also convinced a lot of my friends to get Xbox One (except for two of them and one who can't because of the price) so yeah. XBOX ONE WHOO!
-
The fact that this poll is being done on Bungie makes it biased towards Xbox.
-
PS4 for me. I enjoyed the 360, but in terms of quality of hardware and experience (ignoring the games, Halo 3 was probably the main reason I liked the Xbox so much) the PS3 has won this gen. IMO, the PS4 and its controllers look better, and the console is cheaper, the online is cheaper, and Halo is not a pull factor for me any more. The Xbox One will still be alright, and if Halo 5 turns out good and other exclusives catch my eye I'd consider it.
-
I'm more of an Xbox kind of guy but the Ps4 seems a little bit closer to my needs. I'm not getting either of them anyway.
-
Not getting a PoS4. Any company whose strategy is to derail the competition doesn't have a quality product themselves. It's like insulting someone during a debate.
-
PS4 day one. The reason being, I view the PS Exclusives better, $100 cheaper and all my friends are getting a PS4.
-
Edited by halo: 7/21/2013 2:09:23 PMNone of the Xbox exclusives interest me, the 'vision of the future' is not something I'm interested with Xbox One. If I'm getting a console, I will build a PC first and then buy them when all the launch console problems are discovered and fixed and then new models released in late 2014. I remember getting the 360 Elite in 2007 around 2 years after that terrible launch console was released with lol20gigs. That sweet Black and extra 100 gigs.
-
Getting both but Xbox definitely is the better of the 2 in my opinion because I'm more used to it. So Xbox suits my needs/desires best.

They're both too similar to choose between, and Making the move to a brand new console is just too jarring to worry with. I can't leave my last 5 years of Gaming resume behind, along with my friends, and my precious controller. Going X1.

Xbox One suits my needs, interests and desires best.
