Mostly agreed (didn't see whatever thread led to this though, so I'm missing the context).
Must point out though that not all men are horny devils, and not all women are angels. As you admit in your post. Every one is equally shallow. So it comes down to tact. And there are plenty of tactless trolls on the internet unfortunately.

I guess it may seem like males are mostly to blame, because the majority of members here are indeed male. However nobody is "clear" or excused from such behavior because of their gender. There has been a few female members here as well that has been just as nasty as some of the worst male members, it just don't seem to happen as often because for one; there's not as many of us, and two; we're more watched and judged. If I were to say another female member was unattractive, I'd be announced as "jealous."

No, I did... You said it is do to the sheer numbers- but it's of my opinion that even to think for an instant it is because of any other reason is a rather childish thing to say- not specifically applying to here- bit anywhere.
