Hey Bungie, I'm a huge fan and I just want to ask that you implement a shoulder switch system or gun swap, I'm a left handed gun holder in real life and really want to be able to do that in video games also!
-With love,

I always use Bumper Jumper, BJ FTW, and I want a gun that I can use my thumb to fire.

http://www.bungie.net/7_left-handed-characters-in-destiny/en/Forum/Post?id=62264123#referred-lefthanded i've included links to all the concept art i've found with lefties
-
Yep i hope the do that not cuz i'm a lefty but itll be just another cool addition. I liked that in skyrim how u could choose which hand you would put stuff in
-
I feel like they may have already hinted towards this. Look at what hand the hunter is holding his pistol in the law of the jungle trailer.
-
One day us lefties will be given a chance to frolic in the meadows, while holding our guns like only a true leftie can.
-
I posted this in another post like this, but there is evidence Bungie might include this. Look at their concept art (especially their Warlock wallpaper). It sometimes has someone using their left hand, as well as the Warlock seems to be sporting the fact he's left handed. I take this as evidence, however I wouldn't take it as fact because its just concept. Bungie does love us and want us to be more immersed into our character so what better way to do that than to make us use our actual dominant hand in game? Anyways, do with the info what you will, I think it's possible this time round. -MJ Rookie.

Sorry man, in the world of Destiny, left handed people died out about 430 years ago. So this won't be a feature Bungie will implement.
-
It'd be cool to be able to do this on the battlefield anyway! Imagine yourself pinned down behind cover in a firefight! You shooting right handed to the right of a barrier, suddenly a fallen drop ship comes in and deploys a group of fallen with their captain to the left of you! You could switch shoulders and deal with the threat without having to lean out as far behind cover. Job done. Sorry i get into it. Kinda excited!
-
I'm a righty that shoots lefty. I feel your pain lefties.
-
i can shoot with either hand, but i am primarily a southpaw also. but like my mouse i use my right hand. so the option might be nice, but i might find it weird since all this time i have always seen it on the right.
-
That would be a nice feature, this has been implemented in a few third person games, with that in mind, considering all the emphasis Bungie has on customization and how innovative Bungie is with Destiny may be one of the 1st FPS's to do this.
-
us left-ers have been oppressed for far too long
-
regardless of my dominate right hand, I am left eye dominate and shoot backwards so to speak... in real life that is. It would be nice to have this option.
-
Would be cool to see, at character creation having to choose a dominant hand. On a partially related note left-handed people are annoying. From a decade of martial arts no one throws you off like a left handed person. Some (very infrequently) schools teach you to fight with both sides so in full contact tournaments you can randomly switch and completely throw your opponent off.
-
im a right hander and i have to personally say that this is a good idea. weapons always provide blind spots in the games i play cause i cant switch the hands i use. manually having an option to 'fix' this is a good idea. besides its an era for players choice, if the masses want it then by all means give it to em :)
-
That would be cool like how in Ghost Recon FS you can change the shoulder you look over. But for a first person shooter, this could provide a cool option for us gamers
-
I am right handed but i will always support left handed players who want to switch which side of the screen the gun is on

Edited by Domi 233: 7/23/2013 6:44:32 AMI think there was a thread about this a while ago. It depends on what exactly the system would entail, as to the complexity of it. -if it just appears that you are holding the gun on the left in your HUD, but to other players, it looks like you are holding it in your right, it'd probably be reasonably possible to integrate. -if it outwardly appeared as you are holding the gun on your left, then all the character animations would have to be "mirrored" to suit. This could be a lot of work. Ultimately, I think it would be a great thing to implement, and be a "next step" in the ability to customise our characters. Also, #sinister

Yes Please, Please, Please let us left handed people play they way we want.
-
I wish... It would be nice to see a game studio implement it so more will follow. Though im sure it has been don at least once before somewhere right?
-
That would be cool, it worked really well in The Last of Us.
-
It would be a nice feature.
-
It would be a cool feature yeah

What if, your hand got fatigued and you HAD to switch hands?
