So I just thought I'd drop a little more feedback here about the site and tell you what I think is missing and, from a purely opinion perspective, what could be done to improve the experience of bnet. 1) True Mute - When I mute someone, I don't want to see remnants of that user. I especially don't want their presence to still linger on the first page, despite them being muted, because someone keeps bumping their thread. It's just a nuisance. If you're going to include a mute function, I'd rather it be a clean, controllable experience. 2) [u]RESTORE POWER BACK TO PRIVATE GROUPS[/u] - This is probably my biggest continuous issue with the update. Private groups have taken a knee to the groin, and nothing, yet, has been done about it. Custom titles have been stripped, we can barely moderate our own groups, we have scarce control over public threads. Many communities have died because of the abolishment of these features. Please bring them back. 3) Bring Back Some Rules - Religious and political threads are hardly anything but flaming and insults in a non-controlled environment like this. That isn't necessarily the reason why I want these rules back, though. When these rules were present, users were forced to be somewhat creative in making threads. It kills these discussions, and most of the time, only makes people upset. 4) The Comment Sorting Systems - I have a problem with the 'oldest first' and more of a suggestion for the 'popular' comment sorting systems. With 'oldest first', I have to scroll FOREVER. I would absolute LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it if there were to be pages included with the 'oldest first' system, like the old bnet. Scrolling would be kept to a minimum, and overall, things would be a bit more organized. For the 'Popular' system, I would like to see a more prevalent like/dislike system. I feel like this, possibly, would discourage trolling and ignorant comments, and reword the more helpful and better users. Maybe show the actual ratio of likes to dislikes.
