What are all of these inside jokes with Bungie?
I feel like a blind idiot with "Lingling's Head", "Soffish", and that dude as an easter egg in Halo 3 shirtless and wearing boxers; going right over my head. There are also a few others that I can't think of right now. I would love to know what a bunch of these are, any information would be useful. I've been in the community for 3 years and haven't figured out what any of these mean.
Again, I feel like an idiot, but I'm not an ignorant idiot, I want to learn. Please help!

I snooped around the Halopedia and Bungiepedia back when I was a fresh member, I suddenly understood most of the jokes on this site lol! (but every few weeks someone will reference something I don't know about)

My family and friends all share this inside language of references. Even if we tried to teach someone I don't think they would truly understand. lol
