I see so many Pro-Weed, but I have seen this drug change and corrupt the minds of my friends and people, with myself included. It's a gateway drug not to just other drugs, but also in dealing and people become addicted to it. It's all they think about ect , changes how they think, feel and the after effects of it is horrid. The reason alcohol isn't banned because you can taste just one sip, and it's ok . With weed you take one hit, and you can lose your mind. My opinion is just look at both sides , weeds just as bad ... But yes the majority of people use it and love it.

You must get some real -blam!-ing strong weed as that simply isn't true about any of the weed I've ever smoked. I agree that weed isn't as gentle as people make out though and it is very easy to get too absorbed in it to the detriment of other aspects of your life. Smoking it in moderation is key :)

Weed is just like alcohol, fine in moderation but it can be abused. Personally, I think people are more prone to abusing alcohol than weed, but weed definitely can get people started on other drugs. Yes, it should change how they feel, that's the point of smoking it. Same thing with alcohol. As for all these people you know selling/doing drugs, their problems lie in being prone to addiction or some personal problems, depression, etc. Weed shouldn't be illegal for everyone just because some people can't control themselves

We're not talking about people having underlying mental issues being bought out by weed, although that in itself is a fact even you can't deny, and it still pertains to this current conversation even though it wasn't mentioned. No, what we're talking about are those lazy 420blazeit kunts that sit around all day smoking weed and not doing anything productive with their lives. You cannot deny the existence of this people, you cannot deny that it is ruining their lives. All their potential out the window because they would rather get high all day. All substances can cause this; it's not restricted to weed only, but you're kidding yourself if you deny this happens/think it isn't a big deal

I have some friends who you just discribed.. but two of them I know for sure, have never done Cannabis. They are two to three years older than me, have no job, live with their parents/grandparents, sit at home, play video games, and make excuses.. I smoked a few times.. I have a job, I have bills, but I live with my parents though too, but mostly by choice. Renting or owning a home would be extrewmely counter-productive. My college status is unknown manly because of the cost and the lack of knowing what I want to do, because I've always been like that since the age of 10.

That fact only proved you wrong and me correct, though. That is not caused by cannabis, it's caused by irresponsibility of the individual which would be much worse if they abused soda, alcohol, fast food and many other things. I encourage education, responsibility and awareness. To claim that cannabis is "ruining their lives" is simply absurd. They would be just as bad without it.

That fact that I can take what you just said and replace the word "Cannabis" with just about anything proves you wrong. Again, we are not arguing that marijuana causes this; we are arguing that some people abuse cannabis and ruin their lives with it. Just because the issue is lack of responsibility that doesn't absolve cannabis of all the blame. How can you claim cannabis isn't a factor when it's the substance they're abusing? I'll try to simplify this as much as I possibly can, hopefully you will finally understand. I am not saying cannabis is causing or forcing these people lazy. What I am saying is these people are abusing cannabis and ruining their lives as a result. If you can't see what I am trying to say you are a fuking moron and there is no hope for you.
